Gayle Jameson is a Nurse Practitioner who has cared for adults living with cancer for nearly 40 years. Mrs. Jameson is certified as an Advanced Oncology Nurse (AOCN) and is especially interested in the care of patients with pancreatic cancer, early cancer drug development and symptom management. In her role as Associate Investigator at the Oncology Clinical Trials Department, HonorHealth Research Institute in Scottsdale Arizona, she has been a Principal Investigator (PI) on multiple phase I and investigator initiated studies and also Sub-investigator on over 50 phase I anti-tumor clinical trials. She was the site PI on the international MM-398 study that led to the approval for Onivyde in combination with 5-FU and leucovorin for patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer. She has presented her work both nationally and internationally. Gayle also specializes in symptom management and works with many patients in managing fatigue, cachexia and other problems related to cancer and cancer treatments. Gayle also holds an Adjunct Faculty appointment at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) Prior to her recruitment to SHC, Gayle had various nursing roles at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. Later as a Nurse Practitioner, she was employed at Medical Center Clinic, P.C. and Allegheny Hematology Oncology Associates in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Gayle earned a nursing diploma at St. Francis Hospital, New Castle, PA (1978), a baccalaureate (1982) and master's degree in Nursing (1997) at the University of Pittsburgh. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AACN), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and American Association for Cancer Research (AACR). She has also been an active volunteer with numerous national and local patient support and advocacy groups.
Laura J. Zitella, MS, RN, ACNP-BC, AOCN ® , is a hematology/oncology nurse practitioner at UCSF Health and Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Physiological Nursing at the University of California San Francisco. She earned her Master of Science from the University of Illinois in Chicago. Laura holds certifications as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse.
With more than 25 years of experience in oncology practice, Ms. Zitella is recognized as a national nurse practitioner leader. Her clinical expertise includes patients with hematologic and oncologic malignancies receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, investigational agents, hematopoietic cell transplantation, and supportive care. She is a prominent educator who has delivered hundreds of
educational presentations to national and international audiences and authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, web courses, videos, and book chapters. Ms. Zitella co-edited the Hematologic Malignancies in Adults textbook, which was awarded an American Medical Writers Association Medical Book Award Honorable Mention.
Ms. Zitella is actively involved with the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC), the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology (APSHO), the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and the California Association of Nurse Practitioners (CANP). She serves on the AIM with Immunotherapy Leadership Board, the ACCC Clinical Affairs Committee, the ONS Putting Evidence into Practice Team for Prevention of Infection, the Journal of Advanced Practitioner in Oncology editorial board, the APSHO Education Committee, the American
Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Immuno-Oncology and Oncologic Emergencies Course Collection planning committees, Physicians Education Resource (PER) Executive Board as well as several oncology conference planning committees. Ms. Zitella is the proud recipient of the ONS Excellence in Medical Oncology award, the DAISY award, and the inaugural Stanford Health Care Advanced Practice Provider of the Year award.
Allison Imahiyerobo, APN, is an Advanced Practice Nurse at the Hematology Oncology
Physicians of Englewood in New Jersey. She specializes in the treatment of patients with hematologic malignancies, with particular expertise in immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). Ms. Imahiyerobo is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Oncology Nursing Society, and she was the recipient of the 2018 Columbia University Irving Medical Center Liquid Nurse Practitioner of the Year Award. She has authored or coauthored numerous publications focusing on improving outcomes in patients with hematologic malignancies.

Rowena (Moe) Schwartz is an oncology pharmacist and faculty member at the
University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy, with a clinical practice at the Barrett Cancer Center in ambulatory oncology and Phase I clinical trials.
Dr. Schwartz received a Bachelor of Science at the University of Illinois and her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Texas. She completed a fellowship in oncology drug development at the University of Texas.
Dr. Schwartz started her career at the University of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh
Cancer Institute. She served as Director of Oncology Pharmacy Services at Johns
Hopkins Hospital and maintained a clinical practice at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer
Center. Dr. Schwartz worked with The US Oncology Network as Vice President of
Clinical Content and Pharmacy Operations at McKesson Specialty Health.
Dr. Schwartz has taught at schools of pharmacy including the University of Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, University of Maryland, Charleston College of Pharmacy and Misr International University in Cairo, Egypt. She is an active member of oncology and pharmacy organizations including HOPA, ASHP, ASCO, ONS and ISOPP.
Rowena N. Schwartz, PharmD, BCOP, FHOPA
Ms. Rogers is a Nurse Practitioner at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She obtained her BSN from Trenton State College, her MN from UCLA and her post-master’s NP certificate from Temple University. Ms. Rogers has over 40 years of oncology experience with most of that time focused on the care of patients with hematologic malignancies. She has authored many peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, as well as given many presentations related to the care of patients with hematologic malignancies and symptom management. Ms. Rogers has held leadership positions in multiple organizations such as serving on the ONS Board of Directors, Chair of the ONS Nominating Committee, and Chair of the Advanced Practice Test development Committee of the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation. Currently, she is a member of the Education Committee of the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology (APSHO).
Amy Goodrich, NP
Amy Goodrich, RN, MSN, CRNP-AC, is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer at Johns Hopkins, where she is also Manager of the Division of Hematologic Malignancies Research Nurses and the Division of Medical Oncology Research Nurses. In addition, she is a Research Associate at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Ms. Goodrich specializes in the treatment of patients with hematologic malignancies, with particular expertise in lymphoma. Her research focuses on the development of novel therapeutics and the management of adverse events for patients with hematologic malignancies, and she has authored or coauthored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Kimberly Halla, MSN, FNP-C, is a patient-oriented Family Nurse Practitioner at Arizona Oncology Associates PC in Scottsdale, Arizona. She received her MSN degree with honors from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona in 2015. Ms. Halla is an expert in the field of oncology and medical surgical care. At Arizona Oncology Associates PC, she is responsible for the continued assessment and interventions of all active chemotherapy patients from initiation of treatment through survivorship, the development of individualized survivorship programs in compliance with the Oncology Care Model, and their continued surveillance and assessment as per the National Comprehensive Cancer Network for a large Gynecologic Oncology practice.
Ms. Halla has been caring for oncology patients in multiple roles since 2008. She has a background in education and truly believes that this is at the heart of what she does. She continues to participate in the ongoing education of her peers and colleagues to include caring for the gyn/onc patient after surgery and during chemotherapy and their survivorship. As a subinvestigator on multiple research trials, she has been able to see firsthand new and exciting treatment options that continue to improve the lives of patients.
Laura Zitella, MS, RN, ACNP-BC, AOCN
Dr. Sherry is an Adult Oncology Nurse Practitioner for Thoracic Malignancies at the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is also an Advanced Senior Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing where she teaches both undergraduate and graduate students. Dr. Sherry attended the Catholic University of America where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and went on to receive her Masters in Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with a degree as an Adult Oncology Nurse Practitioner.
Dr. Sherry went on to obtain her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Duke University where her dissertation focused on distress screening and management in patients with metastatic lung cancer. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and the Philadelphia Area Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society (PACONS). She is also a member of the Xi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau.
